 部の特徴・成果

私たちは、ALTの先生方と毎回楽しく、幅広く英語を使った活動をしています。英語のゲームをしたり、映画を見るなど楽しみながら英語を練習したり、ハロウィーンやクリスマスの時期には部内でイベントを行って外国の文化を学んだりしています。また、ゲームの要素を取り入れながら楽しく英検対策もしています。

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

On October 27th, ESS members made Jack-O'-Lantern!

First, we learned how to carve the pumpkins and the history of Jack-O'-Lantern.

Jack-O'-Lantern comes from a story about a man named Jack, who couldn't go to heaven or hell, wondered with a lantern.

After checking the story, we began to carve the pumpkin.  First, we cut off the top of the pumpkin.

Second, we scooped out the fleshy middle and all seeds.

Third, we carved the faces on the pumpkins that we designed.

Finally, we put the lights inside.

It was hard but we enjoyed it!

 

Reading Week (5/26~6/8)

In June, we enjoyed reading books before SHR in the morning.

We read our favorite books for 10 minutes.

The goals of this activity are to let the students start the day calmly and encourage them to read books regularly.

Everyone concentrated on reading and seemed to be enjoying it!
